Just completed my 1st pot of brown rice at 7,300 ft. It is so much better than my usual pressure-cooked brown rice, it is incredible. And I did not have to stand around adjusting the flame on my stove to keep the pressure up, but not too far up. I merely place in the brown rice to the levels suggested. I closed it and set it on the brown rice setting. Perfect the first time.
Yes, it is seriously pricey, but brown rice does not truly get completed at my altitude unless you use a pressure cooker. The controls on a pressure cooker are not particularly fine. First off I know this rice cooker is super pricey. Why the heck does a rice cooker price this much? But this isn't even the most high priced, there's a rice cooker that is $2000 in Japan, that is the Bently or Rolls Royce of rice cookers. This 1 is the Lexus of rice cookers.
The key selling point for this a single is that it has induction cooking and pressure cooking. I'm assuming that if you are searching at this machine, you are almost certainly Asian and eat rice everyday. Does this machine make the rice so substantially greater that it really is worth the price tag, not genuinely. Not for it to be worth this substantially but if you like your rice to be perfectly moist, this does a fantastic job. I am comparing this rice cooker to my old Tiger which is just a typical rice cooker. This one is all personal computer controlled and you just can't mess up the rice.
