What rubbish, Snuttergipe. IT Functions JUST FINE! March 3, 2012

Oddly sufficient, I employed this precise model to cook rice this really morning. The only difference is that mine is the 5-quart and this a single is three. Mine has worked just fine for the last four years or so.As it occurs, I was searching for a smaller sized pressure cooker and stumbled across this 1.-- Of COURSE "steam just pours out of the safety valve", Snuttergipe. That's how it is supposed to work - till the pressure builds up and the valve seals. (By the way, there are two seals and a "jiggler" on leading.)-- It really is challenging to say why "steam came out everywhere" in Douglas B. Wakeman's cooker. The only conceivable way that can occur is if he in no way closed the lid in the initial place.I would not judge how a cooker operates from the remarks of somebody who does not adhere to the directions. It would be like complaining about the high-quality of a radio without having turning it on.To be positive, it operates fine. It will not open if there is any pressure inside. The other safety functions operate well. It is nicely made. The anodizing is initial-rate. It is not tough to clean. It is only $25. It is a no-brainer.Given that I mainly cook grains, beans and soup for two, and do not cook whole chickens or substantial hunks of meat, I shall be getting this smaller sized version of my present

I bought this model pressure cooker at a black friday occasion. Worst decision ever. I really bought one other later. Worst second choice ever. Both worked for a handful of cooks, but neither hold pressure now. Steam just pours out of the "safety valve" (granted, this is improved than if the pressure cooker exploded). It does not pressure cook.
