I am a self avowed pressure cooker junky. I have about 7 varied brands and sizes and I have to say that with this combo of 4 and eight qt models I'll probably by no means use any of my other ones again. They are built so nicely... They reminded me of Iron Clad. Plus they are so substantially quieter than my older style ones. I wish I had spent the capital sooner. And, they are complete 15 pounders, not the usual 12 lb ones I've had in the past... Massive difference.
All I can say is spend the bucks and get the last ones you'll ever want to own.
I quickly fell in really like with this set as soon as I opened the box. It is shining stainless steel, pretty thick and solid. I have utilized pressure cooker for 15 years. Though my old aluminum a single is wearing out and I broke one other stainless steel one's handle, I have been seeking for a new pressure cooker for 2 years. I have searched a number of local retailers. Most are aluminum, some are tough anodized. They tend to put on out immediately. I was set to get a stainless steel a single. Finally I purchased this stainless steel set from [...]. Most pressure cookers are deep, superior for stew and for cooking meat. This set comes with a four-quart shallow pot which I could conveniently think of many things I could do with, like rice, stir fry, pancake,....... And it is quick to clean!
At present I cooked rice, it took only 8 minutes, Rice tastes significantly better than those produced without employing pressure cooker.
I would give it a 5 star, but the manual is a little confusing. if you haven't ever implemented pressure cooker before, it'll be difficult for you to make certain what the signs on the safety valves precisely mean and when to use. Figure 8 and 9 are specifically confusing and IMO not correct. I had to use some deduction, along with my past encounter to eventually figure it out.
