Very Nice product would obtain once more June four, 2008

Admittedly I kinda bought this as a mid sized pot for steaming and pasta. My other pot is a bit modest and my giant ones are not required as considerably. The aluminum pot of course heats lightning quickly to make some speedy pasta etc... So I gave it a go. (Bear in mind aluminum is reactive so not fantastic for tomatoe sauce and so forth. But heats at an outstanding rate for speed)And I have not had a pressure cooker in like 20 years. Not due to the fact the early 80's when I was a kid. So I was like hey pressure could be cool yet again! So It was kinda a enjoyable nostalgia point for me.But I put it to the test and it actually kicks butt. I wanted to make some potato water for a sourdough starter I was generating. What I got was potato water and potatoes for potato salad in minutes! I completely forgot how quickly these issues are. The salad was awesome.It is a great classic one particular with the weight jiggler like I am made use of to. But also has a safety pressure latch to hold the manage when beneath pressure. AND a separate pressure safety valve. AND a slot away from exactly where the handle sits so the gasket can blow slightly if all else fails. Really effectively developed.Also the gasket is produced of silicone. Wich is Very very good if you braise applying anything with alcohol in it. I love my Imusa pressure cookers, I purchased 3 of them and they are exceptionally helpful in my kitchen, I have a enormous family and I can be cooking all types of distinct dishes at the same time, in much less the time as properly.From meats, beans, in much less than an hour, beans less than 30 minutes. the inside turned black just after 1st use
Right after the initially use the aluminum inside turned black which I feel is dangerous, so I am purchasing a stainless steel 1.
